Wow, I can see where it would be a major pain in that situation. Have you checked in iTunes if the audiobook is set to remember your place? There is an option in iTunes to set this. I'm not sure if it will solve the issue, but I would definitely look at it.

I've noticed this several times while listening to audiobooks. After double clicking and then pausing, then allowing the iphone to return to sleep, the phone has no memory that it was playing a track. To begin play again, I must travel through all of the menus that I did to begin the track originally.

It has been a point of frustration, but hadn't though that it was flaw until it was pointed out here.

Alright, I've pushed through my initial problems with Evernote, and I've put together something that works for me, pretty well actually.

Evernote offers some amazing benefits. One aspect of Journler that I really loved though was the way things were laid out. It seemed the most simple, and to make the most sense.

I think a lot of people have switched to Evernote. It has a nice Mac interface, a decent one for the iPhone, and a crappy Windows version. And unless you make a lot of notes, the online service (required) doesn't cost you anything.

You're welcome Ed, but I would suspect the numbers have changed. If you post or have an update let me know and I'll post or link to it.

Thank you.
